Thanksgiving and the start of the holiday season!

This year me and the hubby got to go to my parents house for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful! I love being at home with my family!

We started to put together a  wonderful puzzle that will eventually be glued and framed so that I can put it in my home! My grandmother got to come to Thanksgiving dinner which was also wonderful! I then spent 3 days being Ms. Holiday Cheer! The Christmas music was on from the moment I woke up to the moment I went to bed. It was wonderful! I hung decorations and set up Christmas trees! For me this was one of the best holiday vacations I have had and it was wonderful! It is the most WONDERFUL time of the year!
We celebrated my sister birthday a little early! This too was wonderful!
Then I got to come home and start my holiday cheer decorating! Did I mention how wonderful this time of year is!
My table... nothing fancy but it looked so pretty and my BFF Amanda K. gave me the centerpiece last year for Christmas! I love it!
My very own Willow Tree Nativity scene which gets added to every year! Even though I love the music and the lights and the decorations I will never forget the true meaning of Christmas! My Savor Jesus! This is my favorite decoration of all! The birth of Jesus is more then wonderful!

It's the most wonderful time of the year... with the kids jingle belling and every one tell you be a good cheer!
Tomorrow it is off to do some jingle belling with my kiddos!
Great Holiday! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!

Lights

So tonight my husband had about 2 minutes of free time so he grabbed the Christmas tree and set it up in only 30 seconds literally. We were super smart and kept the lights connected when we  packed it up last year. However the middle section is not working. We are trying to fix that part. So, now the tree with have time to "settle" as my mother has said to us all the years she has put up her Christmas trees. Let the settling begin! I love the holidays!

Angels and Awesomeness

So on Thursday I put up our second annual Angel Giving Tree at school! The children did a great job making angels as decorations with sparkles and everything! I had lots of helpers to make this all happen!

On Friday with the staff and parents help I took my class to Ms. Candie's house to sing her Happy Birthday. She is not aloud to work anymore and she is not aloud to do much so we brought the party to her! I got all the children and adults rock star glasses and the children made her a banner the size of the bus. We loaded everyone on the bus and stopped near by to hang our sign. We backed into her drive way and with horns and in our loud voices  we got Ms. Candie to come out so we could sing Happy Birthday to her! It took everything I had not to cry so the children would not react but it was so much fun!
Ms. Amanda and all her craziness! You have to be if your going to do my job everyday!
Mega phone Heaven! I was loud and it was awesome! New teaching tool?
Stopping to put on her sign! All of the children were so excited!
Please pray for Ms. Candie as they will be removing her tumor on Monday!

2nd week of November

The second week in November which I had blogged a little bit about was a very difficult one for me. I got into a car accident which I don't' have pictures of my car but just think of a car with a squished trunk. I knew as soon as I got hit that I was okay but I was in shock and I have never been in an accident before so this was all new to me. My back ached once I calmed myself down but a half hour after it happened is when the pain really set in. I am very blessed that I am okay and that it just hurt. I  took off Monday and Tuesday and when I came back to work I got some really horrible news. My co-teacher Ms. Candie has a tumor in her brain. She had been acting a little off but she thought it was just because she was getting older. She is an amazing women, mother and although she does not say she is a teacher she is!  I please ask you to pray for her. She is having surgery on Monday November 22nd and she needs as many prayers she can get. She has many people that love her and a classroom full of children that need her love and attention! Her son is still in High School. She has a lot of life left to live! She is ready for the Lord to do his work.
O Lord Almighty, the Healer of our souls and bodies, You Who put down and raise up, Who chastise and heal also; do You now, in Your great mercy, visit our sister Candie, who is sick. Stretch forth Your hand that is full of healing and health, and get her up from her bed, and cure her of her illness. Put away from her the spirit of disease and of every malady, pain and fever to which he (she) is bound; and if he (she) has sins and transgressions, grant to her remission and forgiveness, in that You love mankind; yea, Lord my God, pity Your creation, through the compassions of Your Only-Begotten Son, together with Your All-Holy, Good and Life-creating Spirit, with Whom You are blessed, both now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

1st week in November blog

So a lot has happened and I have not blogged! It is time to BLOG!  Life has been crazy and I love that it is November! We put all of our turkey decorations up in the classroom(20 days ago) and the holiday season has arrived! I love being at home and nesting and watching movies all snuggled up! It has also gotten really cold which in my house means putting insulation in the windows. I know this might sound weird but two of my "walls" are all windows in my living room and the same in my bed room. So, M came home from work and said that he would put up the insulation for me and that made me super happy! Happy wife = happy life!
He also bought some new insulation for the bedroom which makes it dark and a little warmer then normal. LOVE IT!

With the good comes the bad

So, Sunday I got into a car accident my back and shoulder has been really sore. I went back to work yesterday which wasn't too bad but a lot of up and down and doing things I am not suppose to which lead to being more sore. Then all last night I was vomiting, diarrhea, a nose bleed, I burst all the blood vessels in my face from throwing up and I have a heat rash on my legs and arms! I have to go to work because one of my co-teachers has a tumor in her head the size of a lemon. I will take all of the above over the tumor. Even though my body is shitting on me right now. Life is good and I am blessed!

I think blogging can be therapeutic!
I can do all things in Christ, who strengthens me!
